Recognized by Campaign Monitor for e-mail newsletter design.

Sydney, AU (March 15, 2006) – Stickstone Design has been recognized by Campaign Monitor for the design and development of the e-mail newsletter for Samoset Resort.

This great looking monthly email sent by Samoset Resort caught our eye as a great example of a newsletter that gets the message across no matter what email environment their recipient is using,” says David Greiner, Founder of Freshview & creator of e-mail campaign management company Campaign Monitor.

I see a lot of designs go through Campaign Monitor that take the easy option of using a single large image for the email header and other key content. As we discussed recently, this can make it very hard for many of your recipients to preview the email and decide if it deserves more attention. By ensuring the title in the masthead and all other content in the email is text based, every recipient can dig into the content immediately, even with images disabled.

To create an elegant e-mail newsletter that will be well received by all mail clients, degrade nicely, and avoid the Junk Mail folder is a daunting task. Not all e-mail clients are created equal, and therefore an e-mail newsletter design must account for every nuance and limitation of these clients to ensure the newsletter “degrades gracefully” and looks great under every circumstance. Obstacles include image blocking, preview panes, black lists,  lack of CSS support, and more.

By using Stickstone for the design and development of your e-mail newsletter, you can rest assured that your newsletter will reach your audience gracefully and as intended. Stickstone has been designing and developing e-mail newsletters since 2004 and offers e-mail newsletter design as an extended service to its long-term clients such as Internet Marketing, SEO, and hotel & property management companies.
